Mr. Michael Dial was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and graduated from the George Washington Carver High School for Engineering and Science. Mr. Dial worked as an Emergency Department Technician, House Orderly, and Nursing Assistant in Philadelphia before moving to Lumberton, North Carolina in pursuit of a career as a Physician Assistant.
Mr. Dial graduated Cum Laude from Methodist College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a concentration in Microbiology. While attending Methodist College he was Vice-president of Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society and was also named on the National Dean's List.
After graduating from Methodist College, Mr. Dial attended East Carolina University Physician Assistant Studies Program and graduated Cum Laude. He was president of the Keller Society of the Physician Assistant Studies Class 2002. Upon graduation he received the Student Government Association Outstanding Senior Award from the Department of Physician Assistant Studies. Mr. Dial was also a member of Gamma Beta Phi Society. While attending East Carolina University he earned his Master of Health Sciences degree at Duke University School of Medicine.
Mr. Dial and his family moved to Rocky Mount during the summer of 2002. He and his wife, Sarah, have one daughter. His family enjoys outdoor activities, visiting the library, and going to the movies together. Mr. Dial and his family are members of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Rocky Mount.
