Yolanda Smith, ANP

        Yolanda Smith, ANP grew up in Kelford, North Carolina (Bertie County) and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina in 1996. She worked as a Registered Nurse at WakeMed for over 16 years in various departments such as Trauma and Surgery, Rehabilitation, and Emergency Services. She graduated from Pfieffer University in 2007 with a Masters in Healthcare Administration and went on to manage the staff of the Clinical Evaluation Area at WakeMed for 5 years. She then graduated from Duke University with a Master of Nursing in May, 2015. She received her Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She then joined Eastern North Carolina Medical Group in May, 2016.
        She specializes in adult internal medicine (diagnosing and treating acute illness and managing chronic health conditions). Ms. Smith is now accepting patients 13 years and older. She has privileges at Nash General Hospital and LifeCare Hospitals of North Carolina. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
        She is the proud mother of 3 wonderful daughters:  Gemarah will be a senior at Enloe High School and  Kaylah and Kyrah, twins,  who will be 8th graders at Zebulon GT Magnet Middle School.  Her daughters are very active in multiple activities including soccer, dance, orchestra, band, chorus, soft ball and boxing. They attend Elevation Baptist Church in Knightdale, North Carolina. She looks forward to serving the community and helping with your healthcare needs.
