Eastern North Carolina Medical group welcomes Temple Mills Walker, PA-C as a new provider.
She is a native of Vanceboro, N.C. Following high school, where she was Valedictorian, she attended N.C. Wesleyan College where she was a member of the Taylor-Crocker Honors program and was a scholar in the GlaxoSmithKline Women in Science Program. During college, she volunteered at Nash General, now UNC Nash, and worked in registration in the Emergency Department. As a junior in college, she volunteered with Stony Creek Fire and Rescue and became an Emergency Medical Technician. During her senior year, she also started working with Nash EMS. In 2013, she received the Biology Award and graduated summa cum laude from NCWC with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science with a concentration in Pre-medicine. In 2016, she completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from East Carolina University.
She joined Eastern North Carolina Medical Group in January 2017 and enjoys treating patients of all ages in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She is a Board Certified Physician Assistant licensed to practice by the North Carolina Medical Board, a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and a member of North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants.
Aside work, Mrs. Walker loves spending time with her husband, fishing, playing with their dogs, attending Faith Baptist Church, and visiting family in Vanceboro. She is excited to serve the healthcare needs of the people in Eastern North Carolina where she is proud to call home.
